Jean Coleman Elementary is an exceptional place to be! I am truly fortunate to continue this amazing journey with our incredible staff, students, and families. At Coleman, we are committed to fostering innovation and creativity in our students, empowering them to have a voice and choice in their education. We aim to inspire and motivate our campus community to build lasting relationships that will help our learners reach their maximum academic potential. Most importantly, we have cultivated a culture that honors relationships and encourages all of our students to be JCE Strong!

I am excited to begin my 17th year in education and my 9th year with Midlothian ISD. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Elementary Education and earned my Master’s in Educational Administration from Texas Woman’s University.

On a personal note, I am proud to be a parent to four wonderful children: Drew (19), a freshman at Stephen F. Austin University playing football,  Beau (16), a varsity athlete at Midlothian High School; and Delaney (14) and Brynn (12), both active students at Dieterich Middle School, with Delaney participating in cheerleading and Brynn excelling in various sports. I have been happily married for 21 years to my husband, Doug, who is the Head Football Coach at Midlothian High School. We are truly MISD Proud!
